You will find two checklists there, each as a printable PDF and an editable Word file. Checklist 1 takes you from a vague idea to a written plan for your blog. Checklist 2 walks you through a clean WordPress install and the first-login settings most beginners skip.
If you only have ten minutes today, write one sentence: who your blog is for, and what result it helps them get.
Something like "Helps first-time landlords manage rentals without an agent." Plain, specific, and clear about the reader.
If that sentence is hard to write, that is useful to know. It means the blog is not ready to build yet, and an hour of thinking now saves weeks of posts that never quite fit together.
Once you have it, rank the blog's jobs. It might collect email subscribers, sell your own products or services, earn from affiliate links and ads, or build authority for a business. It can do several, but one has to come first, because that job decides your homepage, your calls to action and what you measure.
Both of those sit in Part 1 of Checklist 1, so you will already be ahead when you open it.
